This class is specially designed for kids aged 9 to 11, providing an engaging and supportive environment for learning the fundamentals of breaking. Led by our skilled instructor, kids will embark on a journey through the foundational elements of breaking. Dancers learn the basics that form the backbone of this amazing dance style. Kids will learn to synchronise their movements with the beat, enhancing their sense of rhythm and musical interpretation. Breaking often involves battles and collaborations. Kids will build their teamwork skills as they practice with peers, boosting their confidence in performing and expressing themselves.
Coordination and strength is a focus in all of our classes to ensure our dancers are prepared to execute specialised dance skills safely. Dancers learn basic muscular anatomy to develop their knowledge of body mechanics and proper dance technique as well as dance concepts to enhance their dance vocabulary and problem solving skills.
Requirements: No prior experience needed.
Hair: All dancers are required to come to class with hair pulled back from their face and up. This ensures your child can see clearly while they are dancing.
Dance Attire: Dancers should come to class in something comfortable and baggy to dance in.
