This is the first level of Fairy Ballet. This class focuses on age appropriate ballet technique through exercises, creative teaching techniques and choreography. Dancers work on the fundamental skills and strength needed for proper dance technique while using their imagination. This class develops and nurtures
creativity, coordination and self-esteem through creative warm-ups, age appropriate dance skills, self regulation activities, improvisation and choreography.
Each week we read a story and then dance the story using props and costumes encourage children’s imaginative participation, build communication and problem solving skills. We also introduce dance concepts and basic muscular anatomy so that our dancers develop a well rounded knowledge of body movement.
