This advanced jazz dance class is designed for students looking to enhance their technique and performance skills. Aimed at those who have completed Level 3, this level typically spans 1-2 years and focuses on mastery of advanced jazz concepts. Students will work on complex choreography that involves intricate jumps, turns, and group formations, while also developing their own performance style. Emphasis will be placed on versatility and expression, encouraging students to connect emotionally with their routines. With the guidance of experienced instructors, this dynamic class nurtures creativity while preparing students for more advanced dance opportunities.
Coordination and strength is a focus in all of our classes to ensure our dancers are prepared to execute specialised dance skills safely. Dancers learn basic muscular anatomy to develop their knowledge of body mechanics and proper dance technique as well as dance concepts to enhance their dance vocabulary and problem solving skills.
Requirements: Jazz 3 level completed. If your dancer is new to the studio or has never taken a jazz class please contact info@quintdancecenter.ch for a trial so that we can properly place your dancer.
Hair: All dancers are required to come to class with hair pulled back from their face and up. This ensures your child can see clearly while they are dancing.
Dance Attire:
Girls: Black leggings and a leotard & Jazz Shoes
Boys: T-shirt and Sweatpants & Jazz Shoes
Dance Shoes: Jazz shoes are required for the class and are available for purchase in our retail shop.
