This advanced modern dance class is aimed at dancers who have completed Modern 3 and are ready to elevate their skills. Usually completed in 1-2 years, this level focuses on mastering advanced techniques, choreography, and performance styles. Students will delve into different modern dance genres, enhancing their ability to express emotion and connect with their audience. The class encourages experimentation and creative exploration, allowing dancers to develop their unique artistic voices.
Coordination and strength is a focus in all of our classes to ensure our dancers are prepared to execute specialised dance skills safely. Dancers learn basic muscular anatomy to develop their knowledge of body mechanics and proper dance technique as well as dance concepts to enhance their dance vocabulary and problem solving skills.
Requirements: Modern 3 completed or previous dance experience.
Hair: All dancers are required to come to class with hair pulled back from their face and in a ponytail. This ensures your child can see clearly while they are dancing.
