This intermediate musical theater class is geared towards students aged 7 to 9 who have acquired basic performance skills and are ready to take their talents to the next level. In this level, students will delve deeper into singing, dancing, and acting, learning how to harmonize and express character through movement and song. The curriculum emphasizes ensemble work, encouraging students to collaborate with one another on group numbers and scenes.
Coordination and strength is a focus in all of our classes to ensure our dancers are prepared to execute specialised dance skills safely. Dancers learn basic muscular anatomy to develop their knowledge of body mechanics and proper dance technique as well as dance concepts to enhance their dance vocabulary and problem solving skills.
Requirements: No prior experience needed
Hair: All dancers are required to come to class with hair pulled back from their face and up. This ensures your child can see clearly while they are dancing.
