Join us for a captivating journey into the world of musical theater! This class is an opportunity for your child to shine on stage, develop new skills, and create cherished memories. Through storytelling, music, and movement, they’ll discover the magic of the performing arts and experience the thrill of bringing characters to life. Your child will explore the three pillars of musical theater: singing, dancing, and acting. Dancing is an integral part of musical theater. Your child will learn choreography that complements the story, enhancing their ability to communicate through movement. Our class fosters a strong sense of camaraderie and teamwork. Your child will make new friends, share the stage, and support one another as they work together to create magical performances. Our teachers specialise in nurturing young performers, creating a welcoming and encouraging environment for every child.
Coordination and strength is a focus in all of our classes to ensure our dancers are prepared to execute specialised dance skills safely. Dancers learn basic muscular anatomy to develop their knowledge of body mechanics and proper dance technique as well as dance concepts to enhance their dance vocabulary and problem solving skills.
Requirements: No prior experience needed
Hair: All dancers are required to come to class with hair pulled back from their face and up. This ensures your child can see clearly while they are dancing.
Dance Attire: Dancers should come to class in something comfortable to dance in.
Dance Shoes: Jazz shoes are recommended, clean dance sneakers are ok too. No street shoes are permitted on the dance floor.
