This is the second level of Princess Ballet. This class normally follows Princess Ballet 1. Class is focused on building strength, balance and age appropriate ballet technique. We also explore dance concepts and basic muscular anatomy so that our dancers develop a well rounded knowledge of body movement.
Through their imagination, children learn dance technique in a way that is engaging and fun. This class develops creativity, coordination, strength and self-esteem through dynamic warm ups, dance exercises and directed story dances. Each week we read a story and then dance the story with costumes, props, and a wide variety of music.
Requirements: Princess Ballet 1 completed. If your dancer is new to the studio please contact info@quintdancecenter.ch for a trial so that we can properly place your dancer.
Hair: Dancers are required to come to class with their hair pulled back from their face in either a neat ponytail or ballet bun.
Ballet Attire: Lilac Leotard w/ Lilac Ballet Skirt + (Tights Optional) Uniforms are available for purchase in our studio retail shop.
Ballet Shoe: Ballet shoes are required for class.
H&M slippers and gymnastic slippers are not permitted in class. Both types of shoes do not support proper movement and slip off of dancer’s feet during class.
