This is the second level of Princess Ballet/Tap. 45 minutes of ballet followed by 15 minutes of tap dance! This class normally follows Princess Ballet 1. In this class students build on their ballet and tap technique learning age appropriate ballet/tap skills while still enjoying the fun of stories, dress up and fun ballet dances. We also explore dance concepts and basic muscular anatomy so that our dancers develop a well rounded knowledge of body movement.
Through their imagination, children learn dance technique in a way that is engaging and fun. This class develops creativity, coordination, strength and self-esteem through dynamic warm ups, dance exercises and directed story dances. Dancers explore rhythms and percussion needed in tap dance. Each week we read a story and then dance the story with costumes, props, and a wide variety of music.
