This is a beginner tap class designed for young dancers who are eager to discover the joy of tap dance and develop a solid foundation in technique. This class offers a fantastic opportunity for growth, creativity, and rhythmic exploration. Students will learn the basic tap steps and terminology, focusing on developing coordination and timing through fun and engaging exercises.
Coordination and strength is a focus in all of our classes to ensure our dancers are prepared to execute specialised dance skills safely. Dancers learn basic muscular anatomy to develop their knowledge of body mechanics and proper dance technique as well as dance concepts to enhance their dance vocabulary and problem solving skills.
