Christine Quint

“If I had the chance, I’d ask the world to dance.” Anyone that has the desire to dance can do so. The key is to love the way you move — no matter what. Movement, whether through dance, fitness or everyday life, is one of the greatest abilities we have. The capability to do so is a gift.

BIO

With a passion for dance that’s contagious and a heart full of creativity, Christine is a seasoned dance educator dedicated to inspiring and nurturing young dancers. With over 20+ years of teaching experience, she brings a wealth of knowledge, expertise, and a deep love for working with dancers to every class.

Christine began her dance journey at the age of 3 yrs. and quickly discovered her affinity for both dance and teaching. Having trained extensively in ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical and character she honed her skills to not only excel as a dancer but also as a motivating instructor. She then worked with some of the best choreographers in the San Francisco Bay Area and began to build her professional career. After sustaining a career ending injury Christine was lucky enough to work with amazing physical therapists who were dedicated to healing dancers. This experience helped shape the teacher she is today and taught her how to identify improper placement and build strength in dancers and herself.

Christine strives to create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere that encourages dancers to explore their creativity, build confidence, and develop a strong foundation in dance technique. Her approach is not only about teaching steps and routines but also about instilling a genuine love for dance as a form of expression and a strong knowledge of body mechanics.

Throughout Christine’s teaching career, she has had the privilege of guiding countless young dancers through their first pliés, pirouettes, and leaps. Her dedication to continuous learning ensures that she stays up-to-date with the latest teaching methods and child development practices, ensuring that all class in her studio are thoughtfully structured to meet the unique needs and abilities of their students.

When Christine isn’t running the studio, you’ll find her hanging out her family or in the garden tending to her beloved dahlias. It is Christine’s hope that through her teaching approach, combined with a genuine commitment to each dancers’s growth, she can be more than just a teacher – but also a mentor, role model, and friend to every aspiring young dancer and young dance teacher who crosses her path.
