Lavinia Tinagli is an Italian dancer based in Zurich. She began dancing at the age of four and graduated from the Liceo Coreutico in Livorno, specializing in Ballet Vaganova. At 18, she moved to Switzerland to continue her education at the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK), where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Contemporary Dance. During her studies, she had the opportunity to work with renowned choreographers including Alba Castillo, Caroline Finn, Nadav Zelner, Tabea Martin, Filipe Portugal, and others.
She has performed across Europe in productions, festivals, and dance films, including works by Ishan Rustem, Nadav Zelner, and Teresa Rotemberg. She was also part of the Stadttheater Bremerhaven ensemble in the 2021/2022 season and has been dancing with Momentum Dance Theater in Bern since 2023. Alongside performing, Lavinia is passionate about teaching. Her classes blend ballet, floorwork, improvisation, and dynamic combinations, helping young dancers grow in both technique and creativity.
